HOW TO INSTALL OPTIFINE MOD

Update Minecraft to your preferred version
Download and execute the mod for your Minecraft version
Click on Install
Launch Minecraft with the newly created profile

With Forge

Launch Minecraft with your preferred version at least once
Download and install Forge
Put the OptiFine file in the mods folder
Use the newly created Forge profile to start Minecraft again

DESCRIPTION

As introduced above, the OptiFine Mod comes with many beneficial features. High FPS rate is required to play Minecraft smoothly and with full enjoyment. This Mod gives you all the necessary performance boost you need. It also supports shaders and HD textures, to improve the visual experience of the game.

To give you a little insight, the mod includes many other useful things, besides the obvious ones, including Dynamic and smooth lightnings; configurable render distance, fullscreen resolution, animations and details; better grass, snow and sky; clear water and variable fog configurations.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MODS

If you are going to use it for Minecraft combined with other mods, make sure to install it at last. This also applies to Forge and Modloader. It is not compatible with “CCTV” and “The Aether”

MOD RECOMMENDATIONS

Because of the massive performance boost, we highly recommend you to give Minecraft some visual upgrades. There are many high resolution resource packs out there, which will fit perfectly. Chroma Hills is one of our favourite texture packs. In addition to that, download your preferred Shader Pack, from the official Shaders Mod website and you will experience such an amazing graphical experience like never before.
