Just Enough Items, also known as JEI was created by mezz at the end of 2015. It is the successor of the well known Too Many Items Mod.

Based on Forge, this mod adds a complete overview of every single item, resource or tool in Minecraft. The good thing is, it also supports Mods, which is great, as so many items can really mess up the default item search.

In addition to that, the mod also demonstrates how to create or craft the specific item, tool or resource.

Just Enough Items is a really great mod for crafting purposes. The above image collection demonstrates the creating process of multiple items in different ways.

Not only that it shows you the default Minecraft crafting method, it also supports other Mods aswell, for example Tinkers Construct.

HOW TO INSTALL FORGE MODS


  1. Update Minecraft to your preferred version
  2. Download and install Forge and launch the game with your newly created profile once
  3. Get the Mod file and copy it into your mods folder in the Minecraft root directory
    To get there, press [WINDOWS] + [R] and type in %appdata%/.minecraft
  4. Launch Minecraft and check if it is listed in the Mods menu
  5. Enjoy!

DESCRIPTION

The missing guides on how to craft an item in Minecraft makes it really hard for survival players. Either you minimize Minecraft, open up your browser and search for recipes online, or try your luck with logical thoughts.

After the creator of Too Many Items has stopped developing his mod, Just Enough Items came right in place. It is an incredible useful mod, making it easy to craft an item ingame.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MODS

As far as I know there are no incompatibility issues with other mods. Just make sure you have installed Forge before using this mod.

MOD RECOMMENDATIONS

Any mod which adds items or similar things to the game is beneficial. As mentioned already, my personal recommendation is Tinkers Construct.

KNOWN ISSUES AND BUGS
