The Chisel Mod for Minecraft was originally created by AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN and is now updated by TheCricket26.

This mod adds different variations and styles to the default blocks in Minecraft. People who like the building aspect will definetely love Chisel, as it adds much more creation possibilites to the game.

Above you can see different variations of some basic blocks, aswell as the user interface of Chisel. The usage is pretty easy, just right click when you have the chisel equipped.

In addition to that, the mod also implements another tool called the Ender Offset Wand. This tool can be used to create a pattern that will spread out on multiple blocks, it simply shifts a texture in all directions.

HOW TO INSTALL MINECRAFT CHISEL MOD


  1. Update Minecraft to your preferred version
  2. Download and install Forge and launch the game with your newly created profile once
  3. Get the Mod file and copy it into your mods folder in the Minecraft root directory
    To get there, press [WINDOWS] + [R] and type in %appdata%/.minecraft
  4. Launch Minecraft and check if it is listed in the Mods menu
  5. Enjoy!

DESCRIPTION

This Mod adds a huge variety of different block styles to the game. To access the new block variations, you need to craft the name giving Chisel first.

It is crafted by an iron ingot and a stick in a diagonal pattern within the crafting table. A simple right click opens the mod interface. By placing a block in the top left slot, it gives you the opportunity to redesign the block.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MODS

Unfortunately there is no compatible resource pack, as the new blocks still remain in its basic resolution, which might be annoying when playing with high resolution resource packs.

MOD RECOMMENDATIONS

To enhance the graphics I recommend you to install the Shaders Mod. Because of the missing resource pack compatibilities, the shaders are adding a nice touch to the game.
