The Better PVP Mod was created by xaero96 back in the year 2014. It is compatible with the latest version 1.12.2 of Minecraft.

Many useful features are coming with this amazing mod, including a complete new user interface, a minimap and other incredible game additions.
If you thought this mod adds some sort of hacks or overpowered skills, then you were wrong.

Everything is highly customizable, provided by a new clear game menu. Unlike the mod name explains, this mod is also very helpful in Singleplayer.

HOW TO INSTALL BETTER PVP MOD


  1. Update Minecraft to your preferred version
  2. Download and install Forge and launch the game with your newly created profile once
  3. Get the Mod file and copy it into your mods folder in the Minecraft root directory
    To get there, press [WINDOWS] + [R] and type in %appdata%/.minecraft
  4. Launch Minecraft and check if it is listed in the Mods menu
  5. Enjoy!

DESCRIPTION

Besides the Minimap and User Interface additions, many other cool features are coming with the incredible Better PVP mod.

Quick Use is an action bar like system of key binds that can automatically use a set item in your hot bar without having to switch away from your currently held item. Holding the key bind lets you keep using the item like if you were holding the right mouse button.

Better Sprint lets you sprint forward, without holding the W key. Toogle Sneak allows you to toggle the Sneak On and Off without holding the Shift key.

Many status are given by the new Notification system such as low hunger, low HP, danger of explosion or being shot by arrows.

However, for gameplay reasons the developer added two versions to download: Fair Play and Full version. Obviously there are differences between those, which are suitable for PVP servers. The Fair Play version does not display any entities or cave maps.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MODS

It is possible to use Better PVP with any other minimap mod for Minecraft, although we do not recommend this at all.

MOD RECOMMENDATIONS

Besides the fact that this mod requries Forge, we recommend to use Xaero's Worldmap from the same developer. Also check out his other mods, they are incredibly useful and fun to have.
